Strange Names And New Sensations, released in 2007, got its title from Iraqi towns that we we'd been hearing a lot about-Mosul, Kirkuk, Fallujah, Basrah.
In contrast, the album featured two songs written for Diane: "Something Special" and "My Seaside Brown Eyed Girl"; two particularly philosophical songs, "Middle Age" and "30 More Years", PLUS rather a wildcard of a song: a tribute to the late, very monologist/actor Spalding Gray.
